Dah 3 bulan dah tak update blog ni. Bukan tak memasak tetapi entahlah kurang komitmen sikit nak menulis. Kalo update pun hanya blog lagi satu saya iaitu 'Mentari D'Salju'. Entah kenapa hari ni mood bagus lak rasa nak memulakan kembali menulis di sini.
Semasa mula2 tinggal kat German ni, memang tak berapa suka brötchen ni. ''Keras betul roti German ni'', itulah komen saya & keluarga. Kulit roti ni memang keras, tetapi dalamnya lembut ler juga. Tapi semasa tinggal kat Hotel Dein kat Bad Harzburg baru2 ni, terasa suka pula & memang cepat kenyang. Sejak tu kerap membeli di REWE yg dijual separa masak & akan bakar sekejap dalam oven apabila nak makan. Apabila kerap membeli, mula teringin nak membuat sendiri. Apalagi, dengan bantuan Pak Chik google, jumpa ler resepi ni..

2-1/2 to 3 cups of flour

Note: Poppy and sesame seeds can be sprinkled on top but I prefer them plain.
How to make it

-Pour 2-1/2 cups flour into a large bowl and form a well in the center.
-In a separate container, mix yeast, sugar, and 2 tsp. of water(water comes from the 1 cup listed from above)
-Pour mixer into well but do not mix with the flour at this time.

-Add remaining water and oil and beat until mixed.
-Turn dough out on counter top and kneed until smooth.
-Add the remaining 1/2 cup of flour as needed.
-Put dough in a bowl(I like to oil the bowl before placing the dough in it) cover, and let it rise until double in size.
-Punch down and divide the dough into 12 parts.
-Shape in round or oval rolls and place 3" apart on a greased and flour cookie sheet.
-Cover and let rise until double in size.
-Beat egg white and 1 tsp. of water with a fork until frothy and brush on the rolls.
